About the role
This AVP-level strategic leadership role focuses on driving innovation within the semiconductor sector through the development of global partnerships and technology ecosystems. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between internal R&D and external innovation sources, including startups, universities, and industry consortia.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic identification and evaluation of external technology partners to support the Innovation Group's roadmap.
- Develop and maintain a robust ecosystem of startups, academic institutions, and industry players to accelerate technology transfer.
- Negotiate complex partnership frameworks, including Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) and technology licensing.
- Collaborate with internal R&D and product engineering teams to align external collaborations with technical requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from initial due diligence to integration and performance monitoring.
- Represent the organization at major industry forums, venture capital events, and technology conferences.
- Analyze emerging market trends and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights to executive leadership.
- Oversee the development of value propositions and business cases for strategic investments and collaborations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic business development, corporate innovation, or venture capital in high-tech.
- Proven track record of establishing and scaling technology partnerships within the semiconductor or hardware manufacturing industries.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor technology roadmaps, including materials, equipment, or manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a relevant technical field.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent graduate degree is highly preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with specific experience in IP-heavy collaborative agreements.
- Ability to influence C-suite executives and external stakeholders through data-driven insights.
- Strong existing network within the global innovation ecosystem and technology hubs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex, long-cycle projects.
- Willingness to travel frequently to engage with global partners and innovation centers.
