Key Responsibilities
- Lead global innovation strategy and R&D roadmap for breakthrough technologies
- Oversee multiple Centers of Excellence driving cutting-edge research and development
- Drive value management initiatives to maximize ROI from R&D investments and IP portfolio
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with universities, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Lead cross-functional teams across technology, business, and operations to deliver innovative solutions
- Develop and execute technology scouting programs to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Drive M&A evaluation and venture investment strategies for innovation expansion
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and ecosystem partners globally
- Create and implement frameworks for measuring innovation impact and value creation
- Foster innovation culture across the organization through leadership and mentorship
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology innovation and R&D
- Proven track record of leading large-scale innovation programs in semiconductor or related industries
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (PhD or MBA preferred)
- Demonstrated success in IP monetization and value management from R&D investments
- Experience managing global R&D centers and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate technology innovations into commercial value
- Proven track record in strategic partnerships, M&A evaluation, and venture investments
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and scaling high-performing teams
- Strong executive presence and communication skills for C-suite and board-level interactions
- Experience in customer engagement and market development for new technologies
- Deep understanding of semiconductor industry trends and emerging technologies
- Proven ability to drive cultural transformation and innovation mindset across organizations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing large R&D budgets and P&L responsibility
