About the role
Manager-level Unix/Linux system administrator role responsible for enterprise server environments across Red Hat, AIX, Solaris and Windows platforms. Focus on high-availability operations, disaster recovery testing, incident root-cause analysis and 24x7 on-call support for critical banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform service recovery for Unix/Linux/Windows systems to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity
- Conduct Disaster Recovery (DR) testing in coordination with business and infrastructure teams
- Involved in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for critical incidents
- Administer and maintain servers (Red Hat, AIX, Solaris) in production and DR environments
- Provide 24x7 on-call support during assigned shifts and respond to severity 1 incidents under pressure
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders during high-impact incidents and recovery efforts
- Worked with L1 in monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues
Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise Unix/Linux environments
- Strong expertise in Red Hat, AIX, and Solaris systems
- Good understanding of VMware ESX / Network / Storage technologies
