Senior director-level role leading end-to-end delivery of digital transformation initiatives for wholesale banking, managing large-scale programs, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional teams to modernize core banking platforms and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the digital transformation roadmap for wholesale banking aligned with business strategy
- Lead large-scale program delivery across multiple workstreams including core banking modernization, data platforms, and customer portals
- Establish and manage strategic vendor partnerships and contracts for technology solutions and services
- Drive agile transformation across technology and business teams to accelerate delivery cycles
- Oversee enterprise architecture governance ensuring scalability, security, and compliance standards
- Manage program budgets exceeding $50M annually with accountability for ROI and cost optimization
- Build and lead high-performing teams of 100+ professionals across engineering, product, and operations
- Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new digital capabilities
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure program success and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology initiatives with business objectives
Requirements
- 15+ years progressive experience in technology leadership roles within banking or financial services
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven track record delivering large-scale digital transformation programs ($50M+ budget)
- Deep expertise in wholesale banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Strong program management skills with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Demonstrated success in agile transformation and scaled agile methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Strong vendor management experience with complex multi-year contracts
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement certification preferred
- Proven ability to build and scale high-performing technology organizations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Experience managing offshore development teams and global delivery models
