This Assistant Vice President role focuses on business operations, strategic planning, and financial management within a high-tech industrial or semiconductor business unit. The position is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing business cycles, and providing data-driven insights to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the annual and quarterly business planning processes across the organization
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational health and operational efficiency
  • Manage division-level financial forecasting, budgeting, and headcount planning activities
  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve business processes and organizational scalability
  • Prepare executive reports and strategic presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Oversee the project portfolio to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and timely delivery of milestones
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvement methodologies to enhance productivity
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure operational synchronization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in business management, operations, or strategic planning
  • Proven experience working within a semiconductor, hardware, or advanced manufacturing environment
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets and complex financial models
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent enterprise platforms
  • Expert-level analytical skills using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for executive-level interaction
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and organizational change management
  • MBA or equivalent advanced professional degree is highly preferred
