Key Responsibilities
- The Senior Engineer in Wet Process Development supports the rapid deployment of advanced NAND technology nodes by developing andoptimizingwet processes, improving process margins, and troubleshooting yield and quality issues in close partnership with Process Integration and other process areas.Responsible fordefined workstreams within a wet process module anddeliverexperiment execution and analysis with increasing independence.Also contributes to margin improvement and manufacturability readiness through structured DOE/SPC andcross‑functionalproblem solving.
- MainResponsibilities Process Development & Margin Improvement Develop andoptimizeunit wet processes to meet yield and quality requirements of advanced NAND part types.
- Quantify benefits of innovative process and/or equipment solutions to enable early experimentation and adoption for process margin improvement.
- Initiate and manage experiments to widen process margins andvalidatemanufacturability ofnext‑nodesolutions.
- Cross ‑ functionalIntegration & Troubleshooting Integrate and troubleshoot processes as part ofcross‑functionalteams driving yield and quality improvement.
- Participate with Boise TD peers on technology choices for upcoming nodes and translate future device needs into clear process requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience PhD, or Master's ≥3 yrs, or Bachelor's ≥5 yrs of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field Strong foundationin chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transport.
- Must ‑ haveTechnical Skills DOE / SPC and data analysis systems (e.g., Y3)to analyzeexperimental outcomes.
- Working knowledge of memory process flow (planar + vertical NAND context).
- Must ‑ haveSoft Skills Cross‑functionalcollaboration, concise communication, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
