About the role
Support Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations for a Chinese Restaurant. Train culinary staff on kitchen standards and hygiene. Follow recipes, manage stocks, and ensure high-quality food production and presentation. Maintain stringent hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Train Chef de Partie and Commis on kitchen standards and hygiene
- Follow standard recipes and guidelines for food presentation and production
- Manage stocks for mise en place and conduct goods receiving checks
- Abide by food & safety hygiene policy and handle kitchen equipment properly
- Ensure safe and proper use of equipment and provide guidance to culinary colleagues
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma / Certification in Culinary or Management
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a 4-5 star hotel or quality restaurant
- Comprehensive and diverse culinary background
- Excellent logistical, culinary, and leadership skills
- Willing and able to do shift work
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
