Key Responsibilities
- Support Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Train Chef de Partie and Commis on kitchen standards and hygiene.
- Follow standard recipes for food presentation, production, and portioning.
- Manage daily mise en place, place food orders, and check goods receiving.
- Adhere to food & safety hygiene policy and handle kitchen equipment.
- Produce high-quality food, apply 'First in First out' practice, and maintain hygiene.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Culinary or Management.
- At least 5 years of supervision experience in a 4-5 star hotel or quality restaurant.
- Comprehensive and diverse culinary background.
- Excellent logistical, culinary, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Willing and able to do shift work.
