About the role

The Singapore Rail Academy (SGRA) is seeking a Manager, Standard & Curriculum to develop, implement, and assure the quality of training standards, competency, and curricula frameworks for the rail industry's operations & maintenance workforce. The role involves harmonisation, course development, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the harmonisation, development, and upkeep of training standards, competency, and curricula frameworks.
  • Develop common training courses, including programme design, content development, and reviews.
  • Plan and manage quality assurance and audits on curriculum, process, and compliance.
  • Explore the use of new pedagogy and technology for effective learning.
  • Collaborate with institutes of higher learning for continued education and training (CET) courses.
  • Benchmark against industry and international best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in rail engineering, operations, and maintenance training.
  • Knowledge in engineering.
  • Well-grounded in learning and development theory and practice.
  • Familiarity with WSQ and Skills Framework (SFw).
  • Experience implementing engineering competency frameworks, instructional design, evaluation, and assessment.
  • ACTA certification.
