About the role
SENIOR ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER, TRACKWORK is sought to be integral to the construction of Singapore railway tracks. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, progress, and environmental impact of contractors' works, assisting in planning and execution, conducting site inspections, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of trackwork projects.
- Support the design and analysis of track layouts and geometry.
- Conduct daily site inspections and monitor construction activities.
- Prepare daily reports, technical reports, and documentation.
- Review technical submissions (specifications, drawings, method statements).
- Coordinate with stakeholders on site and administrative matters.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of railway engineering principles and trackwork design is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who is analytical, resourceful, and results-oriented.
- Able to perform night/weekend work when required.
