Key Responsibilities
- Support Backstage Platform Development, including custom plugins
- Champion Engineering Excellence by writing high-quality, well-tested code
- Enhance Platform Reliability and Scalability
- Elevate Developer Experience by gathering feedback and implementing solutions
- Evaluate and Integrate new tools and technologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams and mentor other engineers
Requirements
- Experience building high-quality, maintainable, and secure software systems
- Systems thinking considering architecture, performance, and operations
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience with CI/CD, observability, and automation
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and UX designers
- Passion for improving developer workflows and building empowering platforms
