About the role

The Store Officer is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, material handling, and ensuring timely fulfillment of material requests to support SMRT's maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inbound warehousing activities such as receiving, quality inspection, binning, and tagging of materials
  • Initiate discrepancy resolution with buyers or material planners when quality or quantity issues arise
  • Perform outbound activities including picking, packing, issuing materials, and applying FIFO or FEFO principles
  • Conduct warehousing housekeeping tasks such as binning, material relocation, stock counts, verification, packing, and preservation
  • Manage and monitor 100% fulfillment of Material Requests raised by end‑users
  • Maintain inventory records, monitor shelf‑life, and remove expired materials

Requirements

  • O Level, N Level, or NITEC/Higher NITEC in Logistics Services
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in store operations and supply chain
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Knowledge of Kaizen principles
  • Class 3/4 driving license (preferred)
  • Forklift certification (required)
