About the role
The Application Engineer will lead the deployment and integration of Building Management and Electrical Power Management systems for Schneider Electric in Singapore, handling design, testing, FAT, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination while leveraging expertise in PLC, SCADA, DDC, and HVAC control solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead deployment of applications for Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS)
- Act as primary technical contact for customers, leading discussions and clarifications
- Monitor engineering deliverables under Project Manager guidance and provide status reports
- Conduct and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers
- Develop basic and detailed designs of integrated solutions, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
- Produce engineering outputs such as system architecture, subsystem interfaces, point schedules, control panel drawings, equipment schedules, operation descriptions, databases, graphics, hardware/software configuration and programming
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical projects or working as a Solution/Application Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with PLC, DDC, and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of data‑center and other mission‑critical facility design, operation, and maintenance
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with functional and remote technical teams
- Proficiency in programming and implementing PLC, SCADA, and DDC controllers (preferably Schneider brand) for redundant HVAC system architectures
