Senior field sales role focused on acquiring AI and Web3 startups across South East Asia onto Google Cloud Platform. Requires 7+ years enterprise B2B software sales experience, Mandarin fluency, and deep knowledge of cloud, AI infrastructure, and partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to AI startups to acquire them and onboard them on to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Understand customer needs and issues, then develop Google proposition and offering to meet those needs
  • Develop the Google proposition that differentiates against competition technically and discuss, manage entire business cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with customer engineers and partners in order to improve business results in the area and open up opportunities with enterprise customers
  • Position Gemini, Vertex AI, and our AI-optimized infrastructure (TPUs/GPUs) as the core foundational layer for startups
  • Drive the sales cycle, from initial visionary discovery to technical validation and final commercial execution, ensuring a seamless transition to deployment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in quota carrying software sales and account management at an enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software company, promoting global accounts
  • Experience working with Web3 or AI startups in their AI transformation journeys
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to engage and support Mandarin speaking customers to navigate industry standards
  • Experience in promoting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and working towards business goals in the technology industry
  • Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors
  • Experience with business and legal discussions working with procurement, legal, and business teams
  • Understanding of the digital native customer or life sciences industry and market trends
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customers technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations
