About the role
The Technology Risk Senior Consultant or Manager leads risk assessment and IT audit engagements for financial services clients. This role focuses on evaluating IT governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing robust control frameworks for complex digital financial infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive technology risk assessments and IT audits for financial services organizations
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and application-specific controls
- Lead engagement teams through the full lifecycle of risk consulting projects from planning to delivery
- Provide expert advisory on compliance with financial regulations and technology risk management standards
- Identify and assess emerging risks in areas such as cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data privacy
- Develop strategic risk mitigation plans and remediation strategies for identified control deficiencies
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present technical findings to senior management and client stakeholders
- Mentor and supervise junior consultants on technical audit methodologies and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Information Systems
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT audit, technology risk, or cybersecurity consulting
- Strong background in the financial services industry or consulting for financial institutions
- In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001
- Current CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certification is required
- Additional certifications like CISM, CISSP, or CRISC are highly preferred
- Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, operating systems, and database security
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects and leading professional service teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting
