Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Biological Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/ Chemistry/ Radiation Biology/ Workplace Safety and Health • Minimum 10 years of experience in a scientific research institution with direct experience in chemical, biological and/or radiological safety management, or at least 7 years of demonstrable WSH experience specifically related to high-hazard environments • Possess minimally a Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health • MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) • SCDF certified Fire Safety Manager • Experience with regulatory inspections and audits is highly desirable • Experience working with National Authorities (e.g.
- MOH, NEA, SCDF) • Strong understanding of laboratory operations, equipment validation, and testing protocols • Good English language proficiency, both spoken and written • Good interpersonal skill and a team player • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure • Adaptable and able to quickly learn and apply new safety regulations and best practices
