Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end application testing activities including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders to translate into technical specifications
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business logic
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using Jira or HP ALM
- Collaborate with developers and business users to resolve issues and optimize system performance
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure IT solutions align with organizational business processes
- Conduct root cause analysis for application failures and propose process improvements
- Provide regular status reports on testing progress and system readiness to management
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or software application testing
- Proven experience with testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong proficiency in defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in automated testing tools or frameworks is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP or MES systems within a manufacturing context is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project priorities
