About This Role
Senior Biotechnologist role for GSK Tuas, Singapore, requiring experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing with cGMP compliance and HSE safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end production operations including media supply and drug substance manufacturing.
- Optimize capacity utilization, manpower, and process efficiency while adhering to cGMP.
- Assist in commissioning activities, equipment sourcing, and document drafting (SOPs, checklists).
- Lead design of working instructions to improve GDP and user-friendliness.
- Conduct classroom and On-The-Job training for new joiners and junior employees.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, safety inspections, and workplace risk assessments.
Requirements
- Diploma in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Life Science or equivalent.
- Experience in biologics, chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry preferred.
- Good communication skills and documentation proficiency.
- Quality mindset, discipline, and basic IT skills (MS Word/Excel).
- Basic knowledge of cGMP.
- Aseptic operations, fermentation biotechnologist, purification biotechnologist, or material prep experience.
