ITG oversees the development and operations of core IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, and enterprise applications. Principal Cybersecurity Engineer In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary technical lead for the cybersecurity team, providing expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of system administrators
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity appliances, including architecture, deployment, configuration, and maintenance
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for the organisation's cybersecurity architecture, effectively integrating platforms to maximise security posture
- Conduct technical deep dives and architecture reviews of existing and new security solutions to ensure they align with industry best practices
- Create and maintain documentation for technical processes, best practices, and architectural designs
Requirements
- Degree/ Master in Cyber & Digital Security/ Cyber Security/ Cyber Security/ Cyber Security Management • 10 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on deploying, operating, and integrating a wide range of security appliances and platforms • Deep, hands-on experience with the appliances listed above, including advanced configuration and troubleshooting • Proven ability to design and implement complex, integrated cybersecurity architectures • Strong ability to lead and mentor junior technical staff, improving team-wide technical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non- technical stakeholders • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges
