Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
- Prepare written software specifications from architectural diagrams and documents
- Build, review, and implement test strategies for software products and systems
- Develop documentation including functional, technical, and user design specifications
- Contribute to the development of sophisticated systems and software for customer business goals
Requirements
- Validated knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, and databases
- Ability to code/debug sophisticated programs using written or verbal design specifications
- Capacity to achieve proficiency with new tools, languages, and operating systems through training or experience
- 5–8 years of related experience in software development
