Position summary: You’ll support purchasing activities such as sourcing, bidding, negotiation, and vendor onboarding. You’ll gain hands-on experience in vendor management, contract coordination, cost analysis, and procurement operations in a global setting. Key tasks include assisting supplier communication, data analysis for key performance indicators (KPIs), and coordinating purchase orders and onboarding processes. What you’ll be doing: Supporting in cost saving, service level, payment terms and any other KPIs set in the Procurement department Assisting in sourcing the right vendors and requesting for proposal to secure competitive pricing and terms Processing purchase requisitions and purchase order issuance in accordance with company policy Procuring, expediting and coordinating to ensure purchases are secured in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures Supporting in sales Turnkey, Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) environment sustainability projects Managing and updating vendor onboarding/information within the system Assisting vendor relationship management by evaluating vendor KPIs and performance measures to maintain high supplier standards Who we’re looking for: University students pursuing a degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related Business discipline Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excel dashboards with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) knowledge is preferred Must be able to work at the Tukang (Jurong) office Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
