Join Apple sales finance in Singapore as a Country Controller for Southeast Asia. This is a dynamic and growing region and you will be key part of the front line team. We are looking for someone who can be an excellent steward of Apple’s investments, while being a good partner to the sales team to enable growth. We need someone who learns quickly and is curious. This position will report to the sales finance controller for Southeast Asia. As the SEA Country Controller, you will own and be involved in the following activities: • Provide market insights on political/economical landscape, regulatory changes and competitive activities in the country • Develop and evaluate business cases for demand generation activities in the country. Track results and evaluate ROI to pivot on strategy as needed. • Evaluate and approve investments in the reseller channel, which include stores expansion and fixtures, staffing, training, back margin, consumer offers, etc. • Partner with sales team on the go-to-market strategy by RTM, partner, LOB, and product. Provide financial analysis to differentiate investment to maximize ROI. • Build relationships with partner CFO and finance organization to understand partner profitability and joint strategy impact. Monitor and analyze public partner financial statement. • Support quarterly country forecast with details and insights by partner/product • Compliance and financial reporting; ensure accurate accrual and payment recognition to partners • Understand business drivers, risks and opportunities to provide financial analysis to country manager and regional and WW senior leadership to support long term strategy and investment decisions Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Identify risks/opportunities early and support sales leaders in decision making Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and influence outcomes Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation Strong storytelling with data to influence senior stakeholders Excellent analytical thinking and structured problem-solving Translate financial data into business insights Strong understanding of customer profitability and pricing/discount dynamics Experience on SEA markets or other emerging markets Advanced Excel capabilities Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) & BI tools (Tableu) Preferred Qualifications: Finance degree, relevant advanced degree or relevant work experience MBA or CPA not required, but preferred +10-15 years experience Financial controlling / accounting or Sales/ commercial finance or DF&A/FP&A
