About the role
Siemens Mobility Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to support project managers and design teams in rail infrastructure projects, focusing on traction power and electrification systems. The role involves reviewing specifications, assisting with interface documentation, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring project quality, while providing on‑the‑job training for fresh graduates with a background in electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Design team to deliver assigned project packages
- Review client specifications and requirements for interface documents
- Assist the Interface Manager in preparing asset tagging and hierarchy based on electrical schematics
- Support the project team in following up and expediting supplier deliverables
- Ensure project quality by applying internal processes and conducting engineering reviews
Requirements
- Undertaking a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (fresh graduates considered)
- Willingness to undergo on‑the‑job training in traction power systems and electrification related systems
- Ability to work independently and as a team player in a multi‑regional, multi‑cultural project environment
- Proactive, flexible and able to work under varying capabilities
- Knowledge of electrical schematics
- Knowledge of Excel scripting (advantage)
