For more information, visit <a href="http://www.gf.com/" target="_blank">www.gf.com</a>. </p><p></p><p>As an Engineer-Facilities, you will deliver Facilities operation &amp; engineering services, Chiller / Pump management services, and facilities equipment asset maintenance management to enable manufacturing operations. Typically performing one or more of the above tasks in the capacity of either an individual contributor:</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b>.</p><ul><li>Operates, monitors and maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces facilities mechanical components and systems such as electrical equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), chemical, energy, ultra water &amp; wastewater treatment</li><li>Hires and oversees outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers and roofers</li><li>Maintains and secures facilities equipment asset</li><li>Develops and implements capital improvement projects, such as construction, remodeling, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design and bidding</li><li>Conducts periodic inspections of work in progress and advises construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications</li><li>Inspects existing facilities and prepares reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p>Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety &amp; Security requirements, and programs.</p><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Around 3 years of experience in handling facilities on Mechanical Fronts.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Chiller and Pumps</li><li>Ability to handle Plumbers &amp; Contractors onsite</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.</li></ul><p></p><p>GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
