Job Responsibilities Strategy and Planning To work with relevant CMBS & Treasury desks to identify key focus areas, products and initiatives, that can achieve Sustainability & Islamic targets faster for Sustainability & Islamic CMBS & Treasury To work with relevant CMBS, Treasury & FI desks to execute new Sustainability & Islamic products and initiatives on time in order to meet Sustainability & Islamic CMBS & Treasury budgets Business Performance and Management To work with relevant CMBS & Treasury desks to actively monitor Sustainability & Islamic profitability for Islamic CMBS & Treasury to ensure business is on track to meet budget To work with relevant CMBS & Treasury desks to handle and update systems, processes and products to ensure they keep pace with clients, regulatory/shariah and market demands People Management To network with colleagues from other departments, potential clients and potential sources of clients in order to originate initiatives Regulatory Compliance To work with relevant CMBS & Treasury desks to ensure business complies with shariah, MAS regulations and other guidelines on Sustainability & Islamic Banking To work with relevant CMBS & Treasury desks to handle audit on Sustainability & Islamic Banking Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from recognised university 3–5 years of experience in banking, financial advisory, or sustainability-related roles, preferably with exposure to Islamic Banking. Familiarity with ESG frameworks, sustainability-linked instruments, and global reporting standards (e.g., GRI, TCFD, SASB). Strong financial acumen and understanding of credit and risk assessment. Knowledge of sustainability regulations, ESG risk management, and climate finance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to develop effective metrics and monitor sustainability performance. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
