The Branch Operations Specialist supports branch management, ensures compliance, and delivers high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Assist CSM/ASM in managing branches, providing guidance and ensuring AML/CFT, risk, compliance, and audit standards.
- Ensure branch operation quality, customer satisfaction, and meet KPI targets (e.g., 90% served within 5‑10 minutes).
- Perform daily teller duties, manage cash activities, handle currency, maintain and reconcile cash drawers.
- Respond to customer enquiries, promote bank products, and handle clerical/administrative tasks following SOPs.
- Conduct security checks, detect fraud, follow bank protocols, and complete daily reconciliation tasks.
- Supervise and coach branch staff, maintain professional appearance and clean premises, and attend upskilling courses.
Requirements
- Diploma (or higher) with professional or regulatory qualifications.
- Minimum 1 year of teller or branch banking experience.
- Proficiency in computer applications and strong mathematical and cash‑handling skills.
- Knowledge of retail banking products, customer service principles, and AML/CFT compliance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team‑player abilities; service‑oriented and meticulous.
