About the role

Lead and manage a team of Business Development Representatives focused on the small business segment within the Singapore market. You will drive sales strategy, mentor team members, and ensure the achievement of regional revenue targets in the industrial and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the small business market segment in Singapore
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics and KPIs to identify growth opportunities
  • Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts to senior leadership
  • Facilitate regular training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and CRM utilization
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine lead generation strategies and improve lead quality
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous feedback to drive career development
  • Oversee the maintenance and integrity of customer data within the CRM platform
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking sessions to build market presence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or technical sales
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or people management role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment
  • Deep understanding of the industrial technology and SME landscape in Singapore
  • Strong proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior sales talent
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-oriented environment
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term business growth
