This Investment Banking Specialist role focuses on Debt Capital Markets and Capital Advisory in Singapore. The position involves supporting deal origination through financial analysis and pitch book creation, while managing end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fundamental, financial and credit analysis for client funding to tailor product solutions to address clients' capital structure and liquidity objectives
  • Preparation of high-quality pitch book across capital raising and advisory mandates for client meetings and follow-ups
  • Monitor and analyse market data, events and preparation of regular market updates and pricing updates to clients
  • Support the team in obtaining internal approvals such as preparation of conflict clearance, debt underwriting approval memo, managing deal documentation and timeline
  • Coordinate deal execution between all internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closing
  • Manage deal execution aspects including due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, and preparation of internal sales memo and deal case studies
  • Engage and build relationship with client working level teams to ensure smooth deal execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (strong academic performance)
  • CMFAS 4A (Advisory on Corporate Finance) certification
  • At least 2-3 years relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets and/or Capital Advisory
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong knowledge in accounting and credit fundamentals, financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and genuine interest in financial markets
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative
  • Professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deals, and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to work long hours for critical pitching and deal closure periods
