Consumer Marketing Team Manager role focused on leading integrated marketing strategies for consumer banking products. Responsible for driving acquisition, usage, and retention through data-driven campaigns, brand stewardship, and team leadership while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies aligned to business objectives across consumer banking portfolio
- Translate customer insights, data trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable marketing plans that drive acquisition, usage, and retention
- Identify and evaluate new partnership, collaboration, and platform opportunities to unlock incremental growth and engagement
- Own annual marketing planning and budgeting, ensuring effective allocation, optimisation, and ROI tracking
- Act as brand steward for consumer banking, ensuring all campaigns adhere to CIMB's brand guidelines, tone of voice, and customer promise
- Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery, including strategy, creative development, activation, timeline management, and post-campaign optimisation
- Drive a balanced marketing mix across brand-building and performance initiatives
- Ensure messaging is consistently tailored to priority customer segments across the customer lifecycle
- Partner with product, digital and analytics teams to deliver campaigns that support key commercial KPIs
- Proactively identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the consumer banking ecosystem
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Finance, or related disciplines
- Minimum 12 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within banking, financial services, fintech, or consumer brands
- Proven track record in managing integrated marketing campaigns across brand and performance channels
- Prior experience leading and developing teams
- Strong understanding of consumer marketing, brand management, and customer segmentation
- Experience working with digital, CRM and data-led marketing approaches
- Solid stakeholder and agency management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in an additional language is an advantage
- Commercially driven with strong business acumen
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Decisive, collaborative, and able to influence across functions
- Hands-on leader who balances strategic thinking with executional excellence
- Be prepared to be hands-on as this is both a strategic and tactical role
