Technical Business Developer responsible for leading global submarine cable projects for AWS. The role involves planning, contracting, and delivering subsea fiber networks while coordinating complex, multi-year programs across multiple geographies and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver submarine cable projects across the globe
- Represent and lead for Amazon in deployment and operational meetings
- Coordinate complex projects spanning several geographies
- Deliver projects to Amazon's high standards
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Gather, refine and drive program goals
- Implement new processes and procedures driving continuous improvement
- Interact with a broad range of stakeholders across Amazon
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent, or experience from a technical internship
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience
- Direct knowledge and experience in the subsea telecoms cable industry
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Marine survey, cable route engineering and cable installation experience
- Deep knowledge of how to construct subsea amplified fibre-based networks
- Experience in route survey, route engineering, and marine operations
- Specific knowledge of Submarine Line Termination Equipment specification and deployment (desirable but not essential)
