Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal customers (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and external customers (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers)
- Work with various stakeholders to identify waste and reduce/eliminate these wastes through standardization, innovation and simplification
- Develop software applications as key tools to advance operational excellence within teams
- Work in all facets of operations to gain comprehensive understanding of business climate
- Handle complete software development lifecycle: defining, prioritising, designing, building, and testing new features
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles & Operational Excellence
- Experienced in Python, JavaScript, CICD and CDK
- Suggest & develop tools to reduce efforts and improve operational efficiencies using lean tools and software development skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers (preferred)
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations (preferred)
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy (preferred)
