By joining Rolls-Royce in an Emerging Talent Programme, you’ll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that champions belonging, creativity, and your professional growth. Position summary: In this Internship, you’ll support the engineering team by drafting and designing basic electrical schematics using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. You’ll also assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation related to design activities.

This role offers hands-on experience with electrical design workflows and documentation practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in drafting basic electrical schematics using CAD software under guidance from the engineering team

  • Support the design process by updating and revising existing electrical drawings as needed

  • Help prepare and organise technical documentation, including design reports and manuals

  • Maintain version control and proper filing of design and documentation materials

  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards

Who we’re looking for:

  • Polytechnic diploma students or university students studying Electrical, Mechatronics or Control Systems

  • Software skills: AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
