About the role
The Staff Test Engineer will develop and characterize cost‑effective automated test solutions for Qualcomm's advanced SoC products, creating test plans, hardware requirements, and ATE programs, while leading debugging, data analysis, and yield improvement efforts across pre‑ and post‑silicon stages.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, standardize, and implement complex test methodologies to validate Qualcomm chipsets and subsystems
- Define test coverage strategy across functional, performance, stress, and corner conditions
- Ensure tests meet quality, reliability, and customer requirements before commercialization
- Perform end‑to‑end functional and performance analysis of complex SoC subsystems
- Identify gaps between expected and observed behavior and drive corrective actions
- Support pre‑silicon and post‑silicon bring‑up
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (or Bachelor's with equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of test engineering or related experience (minimum 4 years as indicated in minimum qualifications)
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role
- Hands‑on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably Advantest 93k
- Proficiency in Java and Python for test code development and scripting
- Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
