About the role
The RF Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated RF transceiver ICs and modules, collaborating with design, system, foundry, program management, yield, reliability, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to create, commercialize, and support RF products.
FablessOnsiteHardware Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) including hardware design and test program development.
- Evaluate, characterize, and develop test solutions for Qualcomm RF products, including characterization plan development, first silicon debug, device characterization, and data analysis using statistical techniques.
- Interface with cross‑functional teams (design, system engineering, customer engineering, quality engineering) to meet customer sampling criteria and bring test solutions into production to improve yield, test time, and quality.
- Analyze specifications, create test plans, and execute tests.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in semiconductor testing.
- Hands‑on experience with Teradyne UltraFlex development (preferred).
- Strong understanding of RF transceiver or analog devices and measurement techniques such as noise figure, gain/power, ACLR, linearity, phase noise.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Experience with statistical analysis software and techniques; Six Sigma Statistical Process Control experience is a plus.
