Key Responsibilities

  • The incumbent will be expected to support implementation of RSTO's environmental site and corporate SHE programs.
  • Specific programs or areas of work to support include, but are not limited to: Coordinate site-wide hazardous and non-hazardous waste collections, characterization and storage programs and interfacing with waste disposal contractors' representatives; Prepare and submit documentation for compliance e.g.
  • Mandatory waste reporting, waste manifest, e-consignment etc.; Understand applicable environmental permit and regulatory requirements, and assess compliance risks; Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement procedures and practices to minimize environmental risks and ensure ongoing environmental regulatory compliance; Reporting, investigation, and follow-up for environmental releases and incidents.
  • Monitor, track and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database; Support other on-going sustainability initiatives as required.
  • Support SHE programs and ensure that the site is incompliance with Local Guidelines and corporate overall risk based SHE management system.
  • Participate in the Workplace Safety & Health Committee and support site for MOM Annual Safety Performance Award and OH Best Practices
