About the role
A 28‑month structured training program to become a CAT A Certifying Technician at SIA Engineering, involving classroom lectures, SAR 66 modules, CAAS examinations, and on‑the‑job training in line and base maintenance, with a post‑training employment commitment of three years.

Key Responsibilities
- Issue certificates of release to service after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple tasks in line and base maintenance.
- Attend classroom lectures covering SAR 66 basic course modules and other aircraft systems training.
- Complete examinations/assessments after each training module.
- Pass Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) examinations for the licence category.
- Participate in on‑the‑job practical training at base and line maintenance environments.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or related engineering fields.
- Strong interest in a technical role within the aviation industry.
- Positive and hardworking personality.
- Ability to differentiate colors for work purposes.
- Commit to a minimum of 3 years employment with SIA Engineering after successful completion of the program.
