Key Responsibilities

- This is a role that requires close collaboration with external vendors, contract manufacturers, and internal teams (design, operation, and so on) to test solution for a new optical module from engineering to mass production phases.
- Typically, the test solution consists of equipment and a sequence recipe for deployment at the contract manufacturer site.
- Test engineer is responsible for design of equipment and figure of merit that provides feedback for manufacturing process and module design.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor/Master/ PhD in Engineering, Physics or Materials or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing test solution for manufacturing of optical component/ module
- Experience on experimental setup (hardware + software) for optical testing
- Experience on building up experimental setup for photonics / optical characterization Clear and effective communication skills (written and spoken)
- Preferred Qualifications: Licensed to operate laser (eg, Singapore NEA N3 license)
- Experience/ expertise in either 1) optics attach (active alignment) process or 2) optical functionality test of optical devices (for example camera, projector, range finder, flashlight, proximity sensor and etc.)
