The Digital Solution Specialists Manager leads a team of technical specialists in deploying advanced manufacturing software and IoT solutions within the semiconductor industry. This role bridges the gap between technical solution architecture and customer business needs, driving the adoption of smart factory and AI-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a regional team of Digital Solution Specialists to deliver complex software and automation projects.
  • Define the technical engagement strategy for smart manufacturing, MES, and industrial IoT product portfolios.
  • Support the sales organization by providing high-level technical expertise during the pre-sales discovery and discovery phases.
  • Act as a primary technical advisor for strategic customer accounts, aligning digital capabilities with fab operational objectives.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of technical solution delivery, from initial architectural design to final implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with global Product Management and R&D teams to influence future software roadmaps based on customer requirements.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, resource allocation, and project milestones to executive leadership.
  • Ensure technical documentation and best practices for solution deployment are maintained and shared across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical consulting, engineering, or software delivery within the semiconductor or industrial sector.
  • Proven leadership experience with at least 3 years in a people management or significant team lead role.
  • Deep technical understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and automated factory environments.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols including SECS/GEM and OPC-UA.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing Digital Twin, AI/ML, or Big Data analytics in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional technical projects with external customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Availability to travel up to 30% to customer sites and regional offices as required.
