About the role
The Business Function Intern will support the SEA HRBP team with day‑to‑day employee lifecycle activities, benefits administration, engagement initiatives and HR processes, while gaining experience in HR operations at Lam Research.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the HRBP team in day‑to‑day employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, transfers, internal mobility, offboarding) by coordinating with HRSS, TA, employees and line managers.
- Execute employee engagement initiatives and manage events.
- Administer employee benefits related tasks and routine activities.
- Support key HR processes including performance management, probation/confirmation, engagement, learning administration and other initiatives/projects.
- Handle employee inquiries professionally, escalating complex cases appropriately and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Complete other assigned duties/projects under the supervision of the HRBP.
Requirements
- Good standing as an undergraduate business student from a reputable university
- Some experience working with data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to translate ideas into action
