About the role
Senior Field Process Engineer responsible for collaborating with account teams and customers to understand technology roadmaps, execute penetration strategies, start up and optimize Lam systems, conduct DOE and SPC analyses, develop new processes, and maintain equipment while ensuring safety and cleanroom compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Account team and customers to understand technology roadmaps, process flow, requirements and business challenges
- Identify value‑add opportunities for Lam and execute penetration and defense strategies
- Coordinate product demonstrations with Global Product Group
- Perform startup of capacity‑add Lam systems and match results to existing applications
- Design and execute simple DOE evaluations for new installations or hardware upgrades
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and generate internal and external reports
Requirements
- PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or related field; or MS with 3+ years relevant experience; or BS with 5+ years experience
- Systematic, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to actively engage customers on technical solutions
- Willingness to work in a fab environment and perform standby duties
- Must wear personal protective equipment including air respirator, cleanroom garments, and safety shoes
