The AI Strategist/Technical Lead at Seagate Technology drives the global AI vision for manufacturing operations, leading strategy, cross‑functional collaboration, and large‑scale AI solution delivery to improve yield, downtime, throughput, cost efficiency and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate AI‑driven innovation and transformation across global operations
- Build and maintain a long‑term AI vision aligned with strategic objectives
- Foster cross‑organizational collaboration and functional alignment around the AI vision
- Establish internal and external AI ecosystem with vendors, partners, research institutes and regulators
- Define and execute a world‑class AI strategy for Operations, including goal setting and KPI measurement
- Design operating model and delivery capabilities to engineer and operationalize AI initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of senior technology, manufacturing, or business leadership experience with proven AI/ML track record
- Demonstrated success delivering AI solutions from concept to enterprise‑wide production deployment
- Deep expertise in AI/ML methods including machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, decision intelligence, and agentic AI
- Hands‑on experience with modern AI/ML tools, frameworks and platforms and ability to integrate AI into existing workflows
