About the role
Manufacturing Specialist (Drive Operations) leads production processes, equipment setup, maintenance, training, and material handling in Seagate's back‑end HDD manufacturing facility, ensuring high‑quality output and operational excellence on a 12‑hour shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the production process including equipment setup, maintenance, fabrication, testing, and machine/tool making
- Deploy and supervise manpower in production areas, operating automatic and semi‑automatic machines
- Perform complex electrical assembly tasks and ensure adherence to work instructions and quality standards
- Conduct on‑the‑job training for new hires and existing operators as a line trainer
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve production issues
- Support process and manufacturing improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in back‑end HDD production
- Prior experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader or cell lead
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate a small production team
- Strong communication and coordination skills with good English reading comprehension
- Physical ability to lift items up to 3 kg and stand/walk for 4‑7 hours continuously
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating 3‑2‑2‑3 pattern, including weekends and public holidays
