About the role
EY Turkey is seeking a Manager for its Assurance – Audit Financial Services team in Istanbul to lead financial aspects of assurance engagements, contribute technically to audit projects, plan and execute complex engagements, build client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and develop staff through supervision and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial aspects of assurance engagements and communicate significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners and clients
- Make technical contributions to audit client engagements and internal projects
- Plan and execute complex assurance engagements
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients
- Assist partners to generate new business opportunities and build client networks and relationships
- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff
Requirements
- Strong academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- Professional accountancy qualification (SMMM, CPA, SPK)
- Understanding of regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with MS Office
