The Insurance Distribution Senior Manager at EY leads business transformation initiatives within the financial services sector. This role focuses on developing distribution strategies, optimizing operating models, and implementing digital tools across agency, bancassurance, and partnership channels to drive productivity and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Work within the Business Transformation team focusing on distribution strategy, future operating models, productivity design, and digital enablement across insurance distribution channels
- Support senior leaders in developing client insights, including market benchmarks, distribution performance assessments, and channel profitability analysis
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary EY teams to develop end-to-end solutions addressing sales productivity, channel cost management, and distribution governance
- Prepare high-quality deliverables such as business cases, operating model designs, transformation roadmaps, and executive presentations
- Participate in business development activities, assisting in the creation of proposals, point-of-view papers and thought leadership
- Form part of project delivery teams, taking ownership of workstreams involving data analysis, problem structuring, and solution design
- Support change management and implementation activities to ensure successful adoption of new operating models, incentives, and digital tools
Requirements
- Minimum 9 years of experience in the insurance industry or consulting
- Experience in areas related to distribution strategy, agency or bancassurance management, or digital distribution
- Strong capabilities in problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and structured storylining
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven experience in client-facing environments
- Strong experience in business analysis, with familiarity in assessing distribution KPIs such as productivity and conversion funnels
- Experience working with stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology
- Ability to understand both business drivers and technology enablers including CRM and lead management systems
- Knowledge of key challenges faced by insurers such as rising acquisition costs, agent recruitment, and digital disruption
- A mindset oriented towards automation and digitalisation to streamline distribution processes
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex issues into compelling recommendations
