About the role
Mechanical Supervisor responsible for directing and overseeing field mechanical maintenance activities at Neste's Singapore Tuas Refinery, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns while leading teams and managing third‑party contractors.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all maintenance work ensuring compliance with Neste rules, industry standards, and local regulations
- Instill a personal safety culture and ensure adherence to technical assurance and maintenance procedures
- Manage day‑to‑day field operations including resource allocation, task assignment, and daily job discussions
- Serve as primary point of contact for frontline troubleshooting and immediate problem resolution
- Oversee productivity and performance of third‑party contractors and service providers
- Collaborate with Operations and Planners to prioritize work orders and ensure timely, on‑budget execution of maintenance activities
Requirements
- Minimum diploma in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil, Gas & Pharmaceutical industry
- Prior experience in maintenance, projects or turnaround execution
- Knowledge of international standards and petroleum/petrochemical plant materials and equipment
- Experience with maintenance work control and SAP/PM/CM processes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
