About the role

The APAC Ecosystem Alliance Relationship Associate Director is responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region to drive product adoption and strengthen the company's market position. This role involves aligning technical roadmaps with ecosystem partners, including OEMs, ODMs, and software vendors, to ensure long-term regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand the strategic ecosystem alliance network within the APAC region
  • Develop and execute regional partnership strategies to increase semiconductor product adoption
  • Manage relationships with key senior stakeholders at partner organizations including OEMs and ODMs
  • Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to align partner requirements with internal roadmaps
  • Negotiate complex partnership agreements, joint go-to-market strategies, and memorandum of understanding
  • Represent the organization at major APAC industry conferences and ecosystem forums
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to identify emerging partnership opportunities
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback from the regional ecosystem to internal business units

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in alliance management, business development, or technical sales within the semiconductor industry
  • Strong technical understanding of semiconductor architecture, software ecosystems, and hardware integration
  • Proven track record of managing complex multi-party relationships across diverse APAC cultures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level executives
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other major APAC language such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a global matrixed environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the APAC region as required
  • MBA or equivalent advanced business degree is highly preferred
  • Existing network of contacts within the APAC electronics and semiconductor industry
