Key Responsibilities
- Be a key member of the corporate finance team covering Southeast Asia, working with regional and multinational clients.
- Take responsibility for M&A deal generation, execution, and project management under the guidance of senior executives.
- Independently prepare financial models, analyses, proposals, and marketing documents for M&A and corporate finance transactions.
- Produce high-quality professional documents while maintaining client confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Develop your own business network to enhance origination capabilities over the medium term.
- Provide leadership to junior team members in producing information memoranda, financial models, and other transaction documentation.
Requirements
- Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics or Banking.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant corporate finance experience in an investment bank, professional services firm, or boutique consulting firm.
- Experience with the Japan-ASEAN corridor; proficiency in Japanese is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements.
- Track record of working on both the buy-side and sell-side, as well as in finance raising.
- Experience in valuing companies using DCF, precedent transactions, and traded comparable companies.
