About the role
Engineering Maintenance Engineer supports the Section Manager in planning, organizing and managing CS&M shop production to meet preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for trains and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and cost‑effective operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise work carried out by the engineering team
- Assist Section Manager in meeting key performance indicators
- Assist in planning work duties and disseminating instructions
- Conduct engineering analysis and investigations on incidents/accidents
- Prepare and review quality procedures, risk assessments, work instructions and records
- Provide inputs for budgeting and cost centre expenses
Requirements
- Polytechnic diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Technology/Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electro‑mechanical equipment
- Ability to lead and supervise a team
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, organized and independent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective communicator and team player
