About the role

The Innovation Manager drives innovation across the Copenhagen Metro Operations & Maintenance contract by accelerating pilot projects, embedding proven solutions, and strengthening collaboration between Strides and Keolis. The role also owns the 'Inspiration' function, sourcing and implementing new technologies and best practices from group innovation and subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Copenhagen contact with Strides (Singapore): coordinate transfer of AI, sustainability, flooding mitigation and other developments into local pilots and engineering practices.
  • Own the local innovation roadmap for Operation & Maintenance: prioritize initiatives, run MVPs, validate outcomes and convert successes into technical specifications and roll-out plans.
  • Lead the 'Inspiration' mandate: proactively identify existing solutions and best practices from group innovation, Centre of Excellence and subsidiaries and lead local adaptation.
  • Coordinate delivery across project teams, operations, supply, IT and training; ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and engineering change control processes.
  • Track and report KPIs (pilot success rate, time-to-implement, performance impact, cost/efficiency gains, adoption rates) to the Project & Engineering Director and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in innovation, engineering innovation, project delivery, or O&M improvements, preferably in rail, transit, infrastructure, or other complex technical operations.
  • Proven experience running pilots/MVPs and integrating external partner solutions into operational engineering environments.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross border coordination skills, including collaboration with overseas partners.
  • Technical literacy in data, AI use cases, sustainability, and engineering change processes.
  • Fluency in English required; Danish or French preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in Denmark and willing to relocate to Copenhagen.
