About the role
The Project Intern in ESG Investment Management will support Temasek's sustainability initiatives by conducting ESG research, due diligence, and analysis of portfolio companies. The intern will help develop frameworks, dashboards, and climate‑transition strategies while gaining exposure to investment processes. This is a short‑term internship from July to December 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth ESG research and due diligence on new investment targets.
- Evaluate portfolio companies' ESG maturity, climate transition readiness, and identify value-creation opportunities.
- Support climate transition strategy and monitor progress toward 2030/2050 emissions-reduction goals.
- Engage post-investment with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and facilitate knowledge exchange.
- Develop thematic and sectoral ESG frameworks and enhance internal tools and dashboards.
- Leverage ESG data and analytics for portfolio assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in ESG and sustainability is preferred but not required.
- Passionate about ESG and sustainability with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent analytical, data, and communication skills.
